What should I do if I'm missing parts for my unit? |
| |
Click on “Assembly Manuals” (in the “Product Support” area of the website) then enter all the required information and we will gladly ship your replacement parts free of charge. You must have the assembly manual to use this option. If you need instructions, please download them from this site and then fill out the form. Please note, this is the fastest way to obtain your parts. Please don’t call us after placing the online order and reorder the same parts, as this will only delay your shipment. If none of these options work for you then call our toll free number at 866 373-AVE6. |

How long does it take to receive a replacement part that is missing or damaged in my unit? |
| |
We are located in Van Nuys, California and we ship all our parts by ground so it can take up to 7 days to get them if the parts are in stock. |

 |
I purchased an item from an online retailer and when the trucking company dropped it off, the box was visibly damaged. What should I do? |
| |
If you see that it might have been dropped or mishandled, do not sign and accept it. Call the place of purchase and explain this to them so another one can be shipped. If you do accept the item we can send you the parts needed to complete the unit, in most cases. |
| |
|
 |
Do you offer home assembly? |
| |
No, but if you contact the store you purchased the item from, they might be able to give you information for an onsite assembly company. |

 |
How long does it take to assemble an Avenue Six item? |
| |
Assembly times vary depending on the item purchased. Some models can be time consuming while others may take only a few minutes. It depends on the complexity of the unit purchased and how much experience the assembler has. |

|
 |
What tools do I need to assemble an Avenue Six product? |
| |
In most cases, the only thing you will need is a good quality #2 Phillips screwdriver, a pair of pliers and a tape measure. Most of our hardware kits come with the proper size Allen wrenches to assemble the unit complete. A cordless screwdriver or drill is helpful, but not required. |

Furniture Fabric Care & Cleaning |
| |
Your furniture is an important investment and here at Avenue Six we understand that you want to keep it looking like it did the day you bought it. To help you maintain your fine furniture, we've gathered together some information to make the process easier.
For specific fabric cleaning see our “Product Care” section under “Product Support”. |
| |
|
 |
Vacuuming |
| |
Weekly vacuuming or light brushing is a fabric care tip that helps to remove soil and protect fabric from the embedding of dirt or grime between fibers which can increase abrasion and wear. Always make sure the brush on your vacuum is clean or it will soil the furniture. |
| |
|
 |
Fabric protection |
| |
Fabric protection helps to increase the useful life of upholstered furniture by protecting fabrics from soil and stains. Some fabric protections are mill applied and others can be applied in the store or at home. A protective finish does not eliminate the necessity of proper fabric care. It modifies the absorbency and soil removal characteristics of a fabric. Loose dirt should be vacuumed and brushed away before it becomes embedded and harder to remove. Spills and stains should be cleaned away quickly following manufacturer's fabric care code instructions for furniture cleaning. |

Repairing Small Scratches in Wood |
| |
In veneered and solid wood furniture, the fix is pretty easy: just find the wax stick at the local hardware store that most closely matches the color of your wood. Simply "color" in the scratch, wipe away the excess and you're done. |
